Mr. Wier has been handling and advising on employment-related matters for over twenty years. He has served as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Delaware Bar Association. He is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association. He has written and lectured extensively to employers, attorneys, and organizations on labor and employment law matters and has authored a publication Insight Into Employment Law.
Mr. Wier has been repeatedly rated by his fellow attorneys as one of the Top Four Employment/Labor Law Attorneys in Delaware and has been rated by attorneys nationwide as one of the Best Lawyers in America, 2001.
Mr. Wier represents employees and employers on all areas of employment law. He has taken on their cases aggressively and with compassion and has obtained significant results and judgments for them.
Mr. Wier is extensively involved in all aspects of his clients cases, representing them at all stages of the administrative process, including the Delaware Department of Labor, The Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, the Delaware Human Relations Commission, The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Unemployment Insurance Division.
He defends and prosecutes on all employment law matters before state and federal courts, arbitration and administrative bodies. He litigates in state and federal courts in Delaware and elsewhere. Mr. Wier litigates and advises on all matters including:
